Project Description:
|
The new Damietta Metal Bridge is an important vessel
constructed to overcome the narrowness of the existing old
bridge crossing the Nile at the middle of Damietta city. The
off-shore piling works of the project included 88no. piles 42.5 meters deep in
addition to 24no. piles 38 meters deep ( All are 800mm in
diameter), while the on-shore piling works included 16no. piles 1200mm in
diameter, 24no. piles 1500 in diameter and 48no. protection
piles 800mm in diameter ( All are 18 meters deep).
