Project Description:

It was not allowed to
install deep foundations for
a part of the Cairo-South
Power Plant using
conventional large drilling
equipment. The existence of
high voltage towers, cables
and transformers made it
very unsafe to use such
large sized machinery. Bauer
Egypt successfully installed
the required foundations
utilizing a
micro-piles-system as one of
its advanced techniques to
solve the plant's problem.
