Conventional Bored Piles
Conventional bored cast-in-situ piles (also known as drilled
shafts) represent the common technical solution for foundations
in weak soils, specially to sustain high vertical and/or
horizontal structural loads.
The introduction of the BAUER system for bored piles eliminated the handicaps and limitations of
the typical Continuous Flight Auger (CFA) drilling technique
specially if larger diameters or deeper drilling of shafts
would be required .The BAUER piling system can reach up to
60 meters of depth, 2.4 meters in diameter and can be fully reinforced,
this is of course in addition to the capability of drilling
in rock and hard soils.
